Scott Stevenson
Glasgow Store Manager
Scott has been riding bikes since 1994 and is a self-confessed Yamaha fan. Having started his riding career with a DT125R he’s owned a broad selection of the brand’s offerings, including three R6’s, an XJR1200, Thundercat, Diversion, MT-09… and even a Virago 535! His current Yamaha is an MT-10 that he’s had from new. Scott also enjoys occasional trackdays at Knockhill on a friend’s track bike. We’re guessing it’s a Yamaha too...

5 Star - Worth A Visit!
Feb 14, 2026 by Jon
I’m from Newcastle and don't have a branch nearby,(hopefully we get one soon!) so I made sure to stop by the Glasgow store while in town for a gig.
The selection in-store is big and varied and I particularly liked the large RST range - a good mix of quality and affordability. I ended up getting a full kit (jacket, jeans, boots, and gloves) at a great price.
Special mention to Sarah who was brilliant and was incredibly patient with me while I worked out whhat gear I wanted. She also gave me some really excellent advice on helmets, even though I didn't buy one this time.
The overall experience was great and well worth the visit if you are in the area and want top notch gear and service.
Ordered a pair of John Doe Cargo XTM…

Ordered a pair of John Doe Cargo XTM Aramid Jeans - Stroker Black,
They were to big at the waist. So returned them to the Glasgow store and the young man that served me couldn't have been anymore helpful. Top class service from sportsbikeshop .
Great service and Products
Jan 12, 2026 by Mr David Gillies
We use Sportsbike shop in Hillington Glasgow. We have used this shop many times now and the range of products, ability to order and inspect things next day (before buying including try on) and service is fabulous. On our most recent visit we were served by Duncan who took his time and helped get exactly the right size and type of Airvest. Duncan uses the company’s products himself and he got his own vest to help demonstrate what the correct fit should look like. Although I have mentioned Duncan all the staff are amazing, you always feel welcomed, never rushed and always supported to make the right decisions. The shop is spotless including the toilets and if on the bike there is room for a catch up, hot drink and a snack. Absolutely 10/10 and highly recommended.
Genuinely love Sportsbikeshop

Genuinely love Sportsbikeshop and even more now that they've opened in Glasgow which is local enough to me. I really like their try before you buy attitude to most things in store and online - the ability to order several sizes to the store to try on is great as it gives you peace of mind. Great selection online of clothing, accessories and even some bike parts. Being able to order most to the shop is brilliant. Most recent buys have been a oxford rucksack which has been brilliant and alpinestars waterproof jacket and over trousers which have been great too. One of my favourtie bike shops and will definitely be back to sportsbikeshop for future biking stuff!
